2.) Select “Art Calls” or “Photography Calls”
3.) Navigate to desired Event Listing & click on it
4.) Click “Apply” at bottom left of screen
5.) Click “Enter the competition” button
6.) Submit necessary info & pay fee
Sandra Duran Wilson - An abstract mixed media artist and author of six books. She has written on the subject of imagination, creativity and spirituality. She comes from a family of artists and scientists and grew up in a world where everything was possible, where she would look through the microscope in her father’s office and then paint what she saw.

The art work must be work completed by the artist in the last 3 years.
Adults 18 and older.
Accepted works may be gallery wrapped canvases or framed, wired for hanging. Mailed entries should be suitable to the rigors of packaged shipping. Framed image size cannot exceed 30” x 36” or an area of more than 1080 sq inches.
Artist may submit up to 3 entries. Entries are submitted using Café Entry website callforentry.org.
A non-refundable entry fee of $35 is charged each entrant for three entries. Credit card payments are accepted using the Café Entry website at callforentry.org.
August 25 – September 30
Awards will be announced at the opening reception.
Artwork selected for the show, but not submitted to Gallery by the Lake, Inc. will be disqualified to receive awards.
Accepted artwork is required to remain at Gallery by the Lake. Inc. for the duration of the exhibition.
DELIVERY OF ACCEPTED WORK
Please ship to:
Gallery address on front of brochure
o Works must be received by August 20, 2019
o All accepted works must include a prepaid return shipping label which specifies and includes fee for the carrier to pick up the return package from the Gallery by the Lake at 106 W Pryce Street.
o Late or damaged shipments will be returned collect.
o Works must be shipped in reusable packing cartons.
o No packing popcorn
o Hand deliveries will be accepted anytime following notification noon to 5 p.m., Tuesday – Friday through August 20, 2019.
RETURN OF ACCEPTED WORKS
Return of artwork begins October 1, 2019.
Hand delivery pickup begins September 28, 2019. Gallery hours are Noon to 5 p.m. but arrangements may be made by appointment.
SALES & REPRODUCTION
A 20% gallery commission will be assessed on the sale of art during the exhibition.
The exhibition committee reserves the right to reproduce accepted entries for future press releases, website and Facebook promotion of this event.

Associated Louisiana Artists Inc. carries no insurance for loss or damage to artwork in the gallery or in transit nor assumes any liability for same. Every precaution will be taken for the safety of the exhibited work. Artist can and should provide their own insurance coverage. Gallery by the Lake, Inc. is not responsible for fees and/or damage from any cause.
A submission of entry/ies into the show and exhibit constitutes a binding agreement by artists to all conditions stated. The entrant understands and agrees that any unclaimed artwork/item left after the exhibit take-out date will be removed from the exhibit site and will be donated /disposed of by the ALA, Inc. after 30 days from last pickup date.
